Our Event Manager Gayle Powers brings extensive experience in the hospitality industry and an unparalleled passion for events to the Trumpet Vine Team.
A California native, Gayle was raised on the Central Coast. Starting in her father’s restaurant, she knew hospitality was in her nature. After high school she moved to Chico for college, where she began working in a high profile floral shop, which focused on weddings, along with other restaurant jobs to make ends meet. Gayle also studied business in Torino, Italy for 5 months before receiving her Bachelor’s in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Special Event Management and a minor in Business Administration at California State University, Chico.
After a floral internship in San Francisco for the well-respected Michael Daigian Designs, she returned to the Central Coast as an Event Specialist and Weddings Division Manager for a large volume catering company. While at that company, she was able to develop her skills and gain experience in the local thriving wedding community.
Gayle’s fervor, eagerness to please, and attention to detail are instrumental to making each event a success at Trumpet Vine Catering. She is as devoted to each event as the next and strives for perfection in every aspect of event planning.
In the off season Gayle enjoys camping, cooking, prepping for her garden for the spring, wrangling her chickens and sharing the fruits of her labor with all she loves.
