We are a professional and energetic team of chefs, event managers and service staff dedicated to providing tasteful cuisine, well-orchestrated events and pleasant memories for our clients.

 

Founded by Paso Robles local Jill Ogorsolka in 2000, Trumpet Vine has evolved from a restaurant to a full-service catering company and event venue.  Trumpet Vine has built a reputation for providing unique cuisine and innovative presentation throughout the county.  Graduating from Jill’s business partner to full owner in January 2008, Jennie Sturgeon has shared Jill’s vision for Trumpet Vine since joining the company in 2005.  The duo has worked closely over the past few years experiencing Trumpet Vine “firsts” like opening and managing an event venue, catering a multi-day festival and serving a 650 guest plated dinner.  In 2007, Jill’s commitment to her growing family and Zenaida Cellars, the winery co-owned with husband, Eric, led her to a personal decision to sell the business.  Jennie was Jill’s natural choice to succeed her at Trumpet Vine.  Jill continues to consult with Trumpet Vine and is relishing in the chaos of managing a toddler, infant and winery.


Jennie was raised in Indio, California and attended college at UCLA. After graduation she briefly lived in New York and then returned to Los Angeles to work in the hospitality and event industries until relocating to the Central Coast in 2004.  She is a newlywed and over the top dog lover.

Jennie is a member of catersource, and President of her  BNI Chapter.  Trumpet Vine Catering is a member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and Central Coast Wedding Professionals (CCWP).
