We are a team of energetic and professional chefs, event managers, and service staff inspired to create tasteful cuisine, well-orchestrated events and pleasant memories for our clients.
In 2000, Jill Ogorsolka opened the Trumpet Vine Wine and Tapas Bar in downtown Paso Robles. In addition to the restaurant, Jill also offered off-site catering for weddings and winery events. In 2002, Jill closed the restaurant to focus completely on catering. Over the next couple of years, Jill established Trumpet Vine Catering in the local event scene by bringing unique presentation, exceptional service and innovative menus to each event.
In 2005, Jennie Sturgeon joined Trumpet Vine Catering. Immediately, Jennie shared Jill’s passion for catering and events. They worked closely in all aspects of the business, and thrived as a team. Jennie was added as part owner at Trumpet Vine in 2007. In 2008, the demands of a growing family and their family owned winery, Zenaida Cellars, led Jill to leave her partnership at Trumpet Vine Catering. Jill remains an active part of the company and her vision for Trumpet Vine Catering continues.
Jennie is a California native and proud resident of Paso Robles since 2004. Following her graduation from UCLA, she pursued a career in talent and event management in LA and New York. Eventually Jennie relocated to the Central Coast with her husband and joined Trumpet Vine Catering. She found her career niche and future mentor at Trumpet Vine. Jennie’s passion for food, people and events is supported by an incredible team of staff.
Trumpet Vine Catering has been listed as one the Top Ten Largest Catering Companies by the Tribune since 2006 and received the "Brides Choice" award for both 2009 and 2010. Trumpet Vine Catering is a member of the Central Coast Wedding Professionals, Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, Business Network International and Central Coast Grown.
